Sauna ritual
Sauna ritual is an ancient Lithuanian practice built from fire, water and plants.
How is it different from a traditional sauna?
What is Sauna ritual?
Sauna ritual is an ancient Lithuanian practice built from fire, water and plants.
This is not the dry, silent sauna of a hotel spa. Pirtis uses steam, rhythm and touch, with leaf whisks, herbal scrubs and body masks working the skin, lymphatic system and muscles while the steam does its work.
Pirtis involves whisking, bodywork and working with heat and steam, with skills built through formal study and years of practice.
I’m a certified Level 2 Sauna Master in Pirtis, trained with the International Bath Academy, so you are in safe experienced hands.
I guide every session from start to finish, for both individuals and small groups.
